kebab stick and the little girl

"bhaiyya mujhe bhi chahiye" ( Brother, I also want) - she told us pointing the delicious street foods ready for breaking fast during the Ramzan month at Mumbai Ghansoli Darga street.

A cute little girl, half our height kept patiently waiting, as my friend handed her the kebab stick. 

"mujhe ek aur bhi chahiye" (I want one more) she did not walk away. He bought one more and handed her. she ran into a parking lot, not much lit by street lights. 

I watched her as she stood alone in the dark and started eating it. She didn't look back, she did not care the whole world that made her eat it alone.
