Mistakes we made.

In the tapestry of life, a human thread, Weaving through moments, where errors tread. Mistakes, the hue in our complex design, Inherent in our nature, a truth defined. Through missteps taken in the unknown, We sculpt our wisdom, seeds we've sown. Faltering steps mark our journey's course, Teaching resilience, a potent force. In the canvas of flaws, we paint and draw, Embracing imperfection, without flaw. For in blunders made, lessons reside, A map of growth, where faults collide. For to err is human, a timeless creed, A path of learning, where hearts can heed. So let mistakes be not a source of ache, But a beacon guiding the choices we make. In our faults, a beauty starts to gleam, Human nature's story, an endless stream. For in the art of mistakes, we find grace, Embracing our flaws, our humanity's trace.

As I walk back into green to the sunlit dawn My heart sunk into the soil deep, to root and reap my peace, to once again leap until my next vacation.       - the annual leave

kebab stick and the little girl

"bhaiyya mujhe bhi chahiye" ( Brother, I also want) - she told us pointing the delicious street foods ready for breaking fast during the Ramzan month at Mumbai Ghansoli Darga street. A cute little girl, half our height kept patiently waiting, as my friend handed her the kebab stick.  "mujhe ek aur bhi chahiye" (I want one more) she did not walk away. He bought one more and handed her. she ran into a parking lot, not much lit by street lights.  I watched her as she stood alone in the dark and started eating it. She didn't look back, she did not care the whole world that made her eat it alone. #shortstory #mumbaidiary #hunger

Mumbaikar

"bhaiyya aapka ghar kidhar hei?" I asked as I adjusted myself to fit at a small space in driver's seat of an autorikshaw. The sun was slowly fading to vanish from horizon. He told me he was from Allahabad, UP. We started talking while he was still driving through the hectic Kalyan shilphata road in Navi Mumbai. I was actually struggling to converse with the limited hindi vocabulary. But he didn't mind, he kept talking as long as I nodded to all the complains he has to tell me about the traffic. The kind of day he had that day, as he was returning from a long journey. Sometimes people just want them to be heard than appreciated, I thought. So I kept listening. He wanted to know whether I had come to UP, with great jubilation I told him I had travelled long from Delhi to Agra to see Taj Mahal. He told me with great pride Allahabad is on that highway and he has his family there.  "To work in Mumbai is great, right?" I asked him like the fres...

Corona Times

Quarantined,no companions Continents wail... Amidst chaos and contagions Life has to sail... The best part of this lockdown is a time that for introspection so that we look back, take a break and bring the dusted habits back into decorum. I just decided to blog again after a long time. The worst part, of course revolves around the scare and the uncertainty that is unprecedented at a time when already world seem to be shadowed by an economic slowdown. "You never know what can happen tomorrow", I just started believing in those words, though it seems a bit unscientific.  When we heard "Hope is a dangerous thing" from Red at Shawshank jail for the first time, it just feels sometimes echos in media voice. But at some point everyone realises the same " Hope is the best of the things" , from Andy which echoed outside Shawshank.  The world will see a new dawn after the Covid-19 passes away. Till then just stay home, stay safe.

The 'Immoral Girl'

On a clumsy Sunday, when you ask me exactly it was an evening 4:00 pm I saw her walking through the narrow corridors of our colony. The clinging of her feet woke me up from a brief nap. She was walking with a strength as if a king walking to usurp the enemy force, she was in her mid 30's Two years before, a rumour spread in our colony that she was into immoral affairs which made her family flew from colony, leaving her aside. But she stayed back. She fought back, but no one cared. I was just 18, and my peer group has always something to gossip about her in our evening gatherings. “Do you know why she used to put thick lipstick always” someone asked. “maybe she has made it a business” someone argued. Some did structural analysis while some others probabilistic analysis for each and every boy in our group, none really has the guts to talk to her. While she walked fiercely, I followed her out of curiosity and in search of finding her. Somehow, I wished I could put forward i...
